Bieber, abortion and babies

Here is an article I wrote for the church.  What do you think?

Canadian Lutheran Online » Blog Archive » Bieber, abortion and babies.

It is a sad statement on our society when there is more outcry against the sincere answers this young man gave, than for the tactics of an interviewer who thought it was appropriate to hit a 16 year old with these questions.  Not to mention the two separate “editorial” omissions in the initial reporting that made his comments more controversial, and less specific then they were when given.

  1. Dear brother Ken,
thanks for the article, and for speaking so clearly for those who cannot speak for themselves. God grant us all to speak as boldly as this your boy who endangered his whole career by speaking as the faithful should.
    Peace in Christ!

  2. Thanks Gerson. My first reaction, like you was to wonder what this might do to his career. There are those who already seem to have a very vocal dislike for him (and not always with a rational reason either), and sometimes seem to forget that he is still just a teenager. Time will tell how much he may have to suffer for speaking the truth.

    God’s Blessings in your ministry.
